Sarah Santens grew up in California and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, where she met her husband. After her time in the service, she moved to Washington State where she attended Columbia Basin College. Eventually she settled in Virginia, where she began working in the educational field, focusing on children and youth development. Sarah is a proud mother of three daughters. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and being involved with her children’s sports. She has a passion for animals and nature. These passions keep her grounded and continually motivated in both her personal and professional life. Mrs. Santens enjoys working with students to introduce, promote and develop the love of physical activity.
