Message from our Admissions Director Emily Pittman

Thank you for your interest in Tidewater Academy!  We take great pride in offering a brighter school choice for families in central and southeastern Virginia.  We understand that evaluating your educational options and selecting a school is a big decision!  I would love to talk with you in person about the educational experience we offer at Tidewater Academy.  We are conveniently located on Rt 460 between Petersburg and Suffolk, and offer bus transportation for our students.

We provide a caring and thorough educational foundation that emphasizes college preparatory academics, athletics, and the core values of family, community, and good citizenship.  In addition, we have a partnership with Brightpoint Community College, that provides students the opportunity to receive career-technical education and training in a variety of disciplines. Our students graduate from Tidewater Academy as well-rounded young adults with the dedication to succeed in college, at work, and in their communities.

New Student Admission Is An Easy Process

The admissions Director, Mrs. Emily Pittman, will work closely with your family every step of the way.

Step 1 – Contact Mrs. Pittman (email or call) to schedule a school tour.  While on your tour, pick up an admissions packet.

Step 2 – Complete and return the forms included in the admissions packet.

Step 3 – Schedule and take placement testing.

Step 4 – Mrs. Pittman will contact you once all testing, information, and records have been received and reviewed.
