My name is Mary Alice Crawford, and I have been in the education field for almost 15 years. I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and a licensed teacher through the state of Virginia. I have served Tidewater Academy over the last several years as a Lower School teacher, and I am honored to now serve as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. In this role, I am passionate about supporting our teachers and ensuring every student has access to a rigorous curriculum, creative learning opportunities, and a caring instructive environment. I have a great love for all TA students and enjoy watching them grow and thrive throughout their years at Tidewater Academy! My husband, Eric, and I are proud parents of our own TA Warrior, Lawson. Outside of school, I enjoy reading historical fiction, raising chickens, going on walks with our family dogs, and spending time with Eric and Lawson! I am so thankful to be a part of the Tidewater Academy family!
