Your very own West Coast transplant!   I was born in California, grew up in the desert, went to high school and college in Washington and then moved East to pursue a career in the museum field.  After years of working with Colonial Williamsburg, I started a family and found a new passion in education—homeschooling and teaching in a Classical Christian Co-op before joining Tidewater Academy in the fall of 2019.  Since then, I have had the joy of watching my oldest daughter, Brooke, join our teaching staff, two other children—Stewart and Annie—graduate, and continue to teach my twins—now 10th graders.  My motto:  I am growing all of my students away from me… to be their best selves, confident and ready to engage their future.
