Kelly Melchiorre has been teaching at Tidewater Academy for 6 years and still loves it—every day brings something new. She believes learning should be fun yet challenging, and works hard to create a classroom where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and be themselves. With a background in Spanish from Virginia Commonwealth University, Mrs. Melchiorre brings both knowledge and energy to the classroom. She loves helping students see that learning a language is more than memorizing vocab—it's about connecting with people, cultures, and new ways of thinking. Outside of school, her hobbies include spending time at the beach, jogging, and spending time with her family.
