Ms. Day is new to the Isle of Wight community, and new to the Tidewater Academy family as well. Her son also attends TA and is eager to be a part of the warrior family. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's in Elementary Education at Liberty University and hopes to teach 2nd grade when she graduates. Ms. Day has an extensive background in early childhood and elementary education with a history of employment with Virginia Beach City Public Schools, as well as being the varsity cheerleading coach for high school during her time with VBCPS. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors tending to her garden and chickens, and playing with her GSP, Sage. She looks forward to the upcoming year and is excited to be a new addition to the Warrior family.
