I am a graduate of Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. I have 36 years of teaching experience. 

I have also been married to my husband Bobby for 36 years.  I have a daughter and son-in-law, as well as a miniature horse, a dog, two cats and formerly a pot-bellied pig. My hobbies include spending time with my family, shopping, going to the beach and collecting pig items. I believe in creating a classroom where my students feel safe, valued and respected.
