6th grade Art students created a Christmas village using their own homes, which they created from wooden blocks and other materials. They painted and decorated their homes for the Christmas holiday.
TA students welcomed the Christmas holiday season in grand fashion by enjoying a Theatre IV production of “Twas the Night Before Christmas”. Theatre IV traveled from Richmond to the Wakefield Foundation to present this Christmas production especially for TA’s students. Pre-K through twelfth grade enjoyed the play and the actors answered many questions from our students after the show.
This is a collection of artwork created by middle and upper school art students this fall.
Thirteen art students participated in a “Colored Pencil & Acrylics” class provided by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and instructed by the museum’s faculty member, Ms. Dawn Flores.
